HI, I’m Ken!

In 2024, I packed up my life and moved to Miami. What began as an exciting new chapter turned out to be a lot harder than I imagined. I struggled to feel God’s presence here and started to question everything…my purpose, my calling, even if Miami was really where I was supposed to be.

Through that season, the two things that kept me going were working out and my relationship with God. Movement gave me energy, and prayer gave me hope. Together, they reminded me to keep showing up, even when it felt hard.

Then one day, I shared a video on TikTok and from that little post, the idea for Pilates & Praise was born.

What started as just an idea quickly turned into weekly classes, and week after week more people kept coming. Some have even driven over an hour just to worship and move with this community! Friendships have been formed, faith has been strengthened, and most importantly, we’re building it all on the solid foundation of Christ.

I’m so glad you’re here. I can’t wait to welcome you into this community, sweat a little, laugh a lot, and most of all - worship our amazing God side by side.

Who we are

The Mat Ministry is a faith-based fitness community bringing people together to move, worship, and grow. What started with one simple Pilates & Praise class has become a movement of Christians who believe that fitness can be fun, faith can be joyful, and friendships can be built on the solid foundation of Christ..
